Though the Animal Crossing series has introduced over 200 villagers across its several titles, there are only a handful of special villagers that make appearances in every single video game. This includes well-known characters such as Tom Nook, the Nooklings Timmy and Tommy, the Museum curator Blathers, the Able Sisters Sable and Mabel, among others. However, other special villagers such as Isabelle, who were only introduced in later titles like New Leaf, because such favorites that Nintendo seemed it was necessary to have them re-appear in the latest iteration, New Horizons.

On Reddit, user blackdemonfoxx proudly showcased the Animal Crossing: New Horizons jacket that they meticulously hand-painted. The beige leather jacket had several of the ACNH special villagers emblazoned on its back. This includes Tom Nook, Timmy and Tommy, Blathers and Celeste, Isabelle, Daisy Mae, Mabel and Sable, K.K. Slider, and even the crafty art dealer Redd. Each of the characters look extremely well-drawn, with the line art so crisp that many fans on the forum thought that the artist had used patches instead of hand-painting the images.

Blackdemonfoxx shared that it took them two months of work to complete the art on the jacket, and that they used Angelus Leather Paint as their main material. They explained that they also used an acrylic finisher to ensure that the images will be waterproof, and would likely last on the jacket for a long time. In the other images, they even showed off their own Animal Crossing: New Horizons stuffed toys, likely as a way to compare their artwork to the official likeness of the characters. Suffice to say, blackdemonfoxx impressed many of their fellow fans on the forum, with some asking if they could pay the Redditor to make something similar for them.

Though there are many official Animal Crossing: New Horizons collaborations with fashion brands, it is still very interesting to see the player base making their own apparel inspired by the life sim title. Hopefully, fans will keep being inspired and continue to create original merchandise that their fellow fans can also appreciate.
