Producing real-life Animal Crossing: New Horizons furniture is not a new trend within the community. Since the launch of the life sim in 2020, many within the community have taken it upon themselves to build and reproduce some in-game items into real life products. Some fans do this out of love for their favorite furniture pieces, while others do so to showcase their crafting skills and even put their crafted items up for sale. No matter the reason, with a huge variety of items found in the game, the ACNH community will always find something to recreate in the real world.

On Reddit, user consmcnugg shared several photos of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Froggy Chair that they have built for their significant other. According to the Redditor, they made the furniture piece as a gift for their girlfriend’s birthday. This likely means that their girlfriend is also a fan of the life sim. In the photos, the Froggy Chair looks exactly like it would be in-game. It has the same frog face on the back of the chair, while the legs curve out the same way as it does in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The Reddit thread was full of compliments for consmcnugg’s work. Some commented that the chair they built looked incredibly massive. The Redditor’s pet dog was in one of the photos, somehow showing off the size of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Froggy Chair. One of the replies even seemed to come from consmcnugg’s actual girlfriend, and the comment confirmed that the furniture piece is indeed pretty large. Despite the size, the game’s community showed nothing but positivity and support for how the Redditor built the furniture item.
Unfortunately, the artist is not offering the Animal Crossing: New Horizons item they produced up for sale. However, Nintendo does have a lot of products and merchandise produced through its official partners and collaborations. However, the fanbase would probably think it would be nice to have a custom furniture piece in their homes. Hopefully consmcnugg will be inspired by the community’s positive response to their work and consider making custom pieces in the future.
