But one of the other awesome features of New Horizons is the detailed customization it allows, from creating beautiful artwork for shirts and canvases, to cinematography, and more. One fan recently even recreated the iconic beach scene from 1917. Now, one Twitter user, who admits they traded sleep for making this creation, has recreated a hilarious and classic scene from The Office.

The project uses villagers from the game and in-game furniture to recreate the infamous first-aid training video from The Office. Twitter user @_baoluu released the laugher on the social media platform and it has instantly blown up. @_baoluu seems to have used their own villager to recreate Michael, including his formal office attire. Animal Crossing players have always been good at recreating characters from other properties, including how Tiger King characters have been represented in New Horizons.
The scene plays out hilariously, with the camera zooming into various villagers who all are meant to represent characters from the show, as each moment they break out out in song or give their line. “I would want to live with no legs.” @_baoluu also uses the emotions in New Horizons to good effect as well to show when Michael understands the instructor’s explanations.
Where exactly this hilarity is unfolding within the Animal Crossing world is undetermined, probably not in Pallet Town, which was also recreated in New Horizons. It does seem like may have been made in Photopia, a location in New Horizons that allows for photoshoots and recordings.
Animal Crossing continues to be a monumental success, well into the mainstream audience. Guy Fieri recently Tweeted himself in New Horizons, as players all over the world are enjoying the game that has a cuteness meter that is off the charts.
Part of the fun of New Horizons is the customization, and it truly is impressive the creatively of the game’s fans. The pinnacle thus far may be one fan recreating the map of Hyrule, but that was within the first couple weeks of the game. Over time, and with the brilliance of the fans, players will be able to do many amazing things with Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available for the Nintendo Switch.
