RELATED: Best Final Forms Of Shonen Anime Villains
Another important thing that makes villains stand out is their character designs. By being endowed with an interesting design, the villains become easily identifiable. Over the years, the anime world has seen many amazing villains, but not all of them can be identified just from their outlines. So, with that in mind, we have made a list of characters who can be recognized by just their silhouettes.
7 Frieza (Dragon Ball Z)
Frieza is one of the best villains in the entire Dragon Ball series. He was a ruthless individual, who just cared about oppressing people who were weaker than him. Frieza’s power enabled him to crush various strong characters and to him, destroying an entire planet was just as easy as crushing an ant.
Frieza is extremely manipulative, and he does not hesitate to make others do his bidding. Frieza has various forms and each of them is eye-catching. He can easily be identified due to the horns on his helmet, and his tail.
6 Madara Uchiha (Naruto)
Madara Uchiha is a legendary character from the Naruto series. From an early age, Madara showed that he was different from the other youngsters as he was able to fight against adults. After the death of his only remaining brother, Madara became truly evil and believed that the Infinite Tsukuyomi was the only way to have peace throughout the world.

Madara’s battle attire is quite iconic. It consists of his bright red armor, and the Gunbai fan. When Madara became the jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails, his silhouette became even simpler to identify. The truth-seeking balls behind his back, his staff, and his extremely long hair make Madara one of the easier recognizable characters in the series.
5 DIO (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure)
There has been no villain who has been as influential as DIO in the JoJo series and his influence is visible in various parts. Originally from a poor background, he got his opportunity to join the elites of society after his father told him about the promise made by George Joestar.
DIO took the opportunity with both hands, and he planned to steal all the fortune of George Joestar. Luckily, DIO was defeated by Jonathan, but that did not stop the former from killing him. His attire from Part 3 is especially famous, in which he wore pointy boots and a circlet on his head with a heart in the middle.
4 Kaido (One Piece)
Kaido served as the main antagonist of the Wano Country arc. He used to be a member of the Yonko, but after Luffy defeated him, Kaido lost his position. Kaido is the strongest villain to be introduced in the series so far, and he has surpassed all the previous villains.

Kaido knew how to use the advanced forms of all three types of Haki and in addition to this, he also possessed one of the most overpowered devil fruits in the entire series. Kaido’s regular form is easy to recognize as he is much taller than normal humans, he has horns on either side of his head, and he carries a kanabo.
3 Zeke (Attack on Titan)
Zeke is Eren’s elder brother, who served Marley for many years before betraying them. He is an extremely manipulative character, who does not have any hesitation when it comes to breaking the trust of the people closest to him. In addition to being smart, Zeke also used to be a warrior for Marley.
Due to his performance as a candidate, Zeke was bestowed with the Beast Titan. The Beast Titan is ginormous in size, and it can dwarf most of the Titans. During the Return to Shiganshina arc, Zeke slaughtered a multitude of Survey Corps, and to stop him from causing any more fatalities, Erwin had to sacrifice himself and other members of the Survey Corps, to provide Levi with the opportunity to take him down. Whenever Zeke transforms into the Beast Titan, his massive hairy body makes it easy to identify him.
2 Kyubey (Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica)
Kyubey is the main antagonist of the Mahou Shoujo Madoka Series. Just like the rest of its race, Kyubey does not have any human emotions. It only cares about using humans to accomplish its goal. Kyubey possesses an unlimited number of bodies and if the original body is too damaged, it can just replace it with another.
Kyubey resembles a cat in appearance, but it has four ears, and the bigger two ears have a ring around them. Kyubey also possesses a big tail, and all these things make it stand out from the other villains.
1 Meruem (Hunter x Hunter)
Meruem was the main antagonist of the Chimera Ant arc. He was the strongest Chimera Ant, and he had enough power to beat Netero, who was considered the strongest hunter. Meruem’s power far exceeded that of the Royal Guards, and when he was angry, there was nothing that could stop him.
Despite being a Chimera Ant, Meruem did not distinctly look like one. He had a humanoid build, and he was smaller than the other Chimera Ants. He possessed a tail with a stinger that could easily kill a low-ranking ant. He also had shell-like protection on his head, that resembled a helmet. His unique tail and the design of his helmet make Meruem’s silhouette easily distinguishable.
